Richard Mountney is an award winning professional advertising photographer specialising (but not limited to) still-life, drinks and liquids with more than 30 years experience. 

Over the years he has been awarded many awards from a Gold Clio, two Cannes Lions, an EPICA and Campaign Press Awards. He has also recently won a OneEyeland Golden X award for the Worlds Top 10 Still Life Photographers 2022.

I STARTED EARLY - LEFT IMAGE TAKEN AT SCHOOL IN THE MID 70’S!

Richard left art school in the late 70's, and while working in London he learned his craft in the good old days of 10×8 and 5x4 cameras. Richard now rejoices in the new digital era. Clients love the fact that he does virtually all of the retouching and manipulation himself, which is a benefit when shooting multiple layers to achieve the perfect result. However, there is one thing Richard laments from those halcyon days… the long lunches in the pub waiting for the film to come back from the lab!
